More rain is forecast for J&K, and a strong downpour is expected in Poonch, Rajouri, and Reasi

The recent 24 hours in J&K had mostly dry weather, according to reports from Srinagar on June 12. The MeT office predicted rain to start on Tuesday.

The sky would be mostly clear and the temperature would be higher than yesterday.


The forecast for the period of May 13–17 is for partly to mostly overcast conditions. Scattered areas of J&K should anticipate a few drops of rain and a few thunderclaps throughout this time.

There is a 60% possibility that certain areas of the Jammu region may have moderate to severe thundershowers on 14-15, according to a statement from the MeT office.

The lowest temperature recorded today was 14 degrees in Srinagar, 7.2 in Pahalgam, and 10 in Gulmarg.

The lowest temperature in the Ladakh area was in the city of Leh, which dipped to a chilly 6.

The lowest temperature was recorded at Katra (20.5), followed by Batote (14.7), Banihal (12.1), and Bhaderwah (10.5).
