A CRPF jawan committed suicide in the Banihal–Qazigund tunnel, according to authorities

19 August, Bandpora: According to reports, a lady from the Quilmpora neighbourhood of the North Kashmir Bandipora district killed herself in a rented room.

An official said that a 25-year-old woman hanged herself at their rental home in Quilmuqam during the previous night.

He said a police team had arrived on the scene, and the corpse had been sent to SDH Bandipora for official medical examinations.

Police are now aware of the occurrence and have opened a new investigation. KS
