Officials in Jammu reported today that a man was hurt in a low-intensity explosion at his brother’s residence in the Chatha neighbourhood on August 23.
According to preliminary investigations, the incident was caused by low-intensity explosive material that was likely intended for illegal animal hunting or trapping.

He said the explosion occurred when explosives kept in the home for illegal trapping or hunting of animals went off.
The individual was taken to the hospital soon after he was hurt.
The event has been reported to the appropriate authorities, and an inquiry is now ongoing, according to the SSP of Jammu.
