Senior BJP leader Devender Singh Rana said today in Jammu that the tremendous public reaction to Shri Amarnathji Yatra is symbolic of the rapidly changing circumstances in Jammu and Kashmir, with people reposing confidence in peace and normality, the essence of their magnificent pluralistic character.
“Surpassing the previous year’s numbers in less than a month of the 2-month pilgrimage speaks of the sense of confidence among pilgrims on account of security and arrangements put in place by the administration with pro-active cooperation from the people,”Rana said while interacting with the devotees after performing Puja at the Vishal Bhandara organised by President All India Manhas Maha Sabha, Harnam Singh Manhas, here this afternoon.
He praised the authorities and the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board for their preparations and the well-organized way in which the pilgrimage was carried out.
Devender Rana spoke highly of the Shri Amarnathji Yatra, calling it “a shining symbol of India’s intangible civilization,” and expressing confidence that pilgrims from all over the world would find spiritual bliss in the Kashmir Himalayas and take home with them fond memories of the warmth and hospitality of the land of Rishis and Saints.
