Ramban: With help from the government and villagers, the military built a ‘Amrit Sarovar’ in the hamlet of Sarachi, restoring the area’s water supply and promoting ecological growth.

According to an Army official, the initiative to build a water reservoir for the people of Sarachi in the Ramban area was motivated by the slogan “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” under which a promise had been made.

He said that the government took the lead on the massive ‘Sarachi Amrit Sarovar’ project because of its importance, and that the military assisted in the building process by providing both manpower and creative technology.

The Army’s spokesperson claimed that the success of ‘Sarachi Amrit Sarovar’ will serve as an example for other community-driven initiatives that can be sustained over the long term.

He said that it would not only increase water supply, but also help to protect native plant and animal species, resulting in a more stable and sustainable environment that would be good for future generations.

The Army’s spokesperson said the organisation had shown its dedication to community welfare, highlighted the need of environmental preservation, and encouraged troops to work together with people.

He said that the ‘Amrit Sarovar’ is a prime illustration of the Army’s dedication to sustainable and ethical practises.

The Army’s spokesperson said this success shows the Army is committed to more than just protecting the country; it also helps improve the quality of life in local communities and the environment.

According to the spokesperson, the ‘Sarachi Amrit Sarovar’ was formally opened with a ceremony during which the residents expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army and civil authorities for the kind act.

He remarked that this should serve as a model for other such efforts around the nation, demonstrating the power of interdisciplinary cooperation.
