Banihal: Woman killed by speeding truck

A lady was killed on the main highway between Jammu and Srinagar on July 27 when she was struck by a speeding vehicle in Banihal.

According to authorities, she was instantly killed when the vehicle ran over her near the toll booth. Aamina Begum, wife of Mohammad Iqbal, was found dead at her home in Lambar, Banihal.

Locals organised a protest after the tragedy.
