Detonation of a suspicious object in Srinagar

Dec. 27, Srinagar: Security personnel in Srinagar found and neutralized a suspicious item close to Parimpora on the Central Kashmir National Highway.

An officer informed Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the device, which had a cylinder attached to it, caused a bomb disposal squad to be sent into action. According to him, a controlled explosion was done to guarantee public safety.

Additionally, he noted that the nature of the suspicious item is being investigated and that, after being stopped for precautionary steps earlier, traffic on the National Highway has again resumed.
