Ganderbal’s District Administration enabled live streaming of Chief Secretary Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta’s commencement of Digital Week in the UT of J&K today.
District Development Council (DDC) Ganderbal Chairperson Nuzhat Ishfaq oversaw the staging of a giant digital mela on the grounds of the Mini Secretariat.
In addition to the ADDC of Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani; the ADC of Ganderbal, Mehraj-u-Din Shah; the CPO of Ganderbal and other district authorities, the event was attended by President Municipal Council Ganderbal, Altaf Ahmad, other PRI members.
Various government agencies put up booths at the event to inform the public about their newly released online services and to provide those services to attendees in real time.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the DDC and other officials toured the booths and asked questions about the departments’ digital offerings.
People responded enthusiastically on the first day of Digital Week, and officials, experts, and resource persons were spotted spreading the word about Digi Locker, RAS, AwamKeAwaz, eUnnat, and the Mobile Dost Application.
