Srinagar, August 25: The Department of School Education on Friday suspended a senior professor in political science for failing to abide by the leave requirements of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Rule (JKCSR).
The senior lecturer of political science is suspended immediately for violating the J&K CSR, Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees (Conduct) Rules, 1971, and J&K Leave Rules, according to Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary of the School Education Department.
The decision states that the offending official “shall remain attached in the office of Director School Education, Jammu during the period of suspension.”
Additionally, Kumar ordered that Subah Mehta, the Joint Director of School Education in Jammu, be appointed as the inquiry officer and charged with conducting a thorough investigation into the actions of the KNO.
