Srinagar and Jammu, 13 July: On Thursday, the bodies of two men were discovered in different parts of north Kashmir: one in the Gamroo region of Bandipora district and another partially decomposed near Khalsa chowk Dhangri in Rajouri district.

Passers-by in Bandipora reportedly saw the corpse near the Gamroo Gundqaisar bridge and called the police, as reported by GNS.

A police contingent has arrived and removed the corpse.

A police spokesperson has confirmed that the corpse has been located, and that they are now working to determine the name of the victim.

Meanwhile, police in the Rajouri district have discovered the partially decomposed corpse of a guy near Khalsa chowk Dhangri.

Locals told authorities that the guy was not from the region and that he often wandered the neighbourhood because he was mentally unstable.

In the meanwhile, a police team transported the corpse to GMC Rajouri. An official from the police department said that investigations have begun and that attempts are being made to determine who he is.
