Jammu, July 23: The Department of Social Welfare Jammu today held a one-day educational and interactive event on “Drug Demand Reduction” at Qasim Nagar, New Bahu Fort.
The initiative was designed to educate the general public about drug trafficking, its negative effects, and how to stop it.

Vivek Sharma, director general of the Directorate of Social Welfare, served as the honoured guest.
Shivani Gotra, Assistant Director (Adm) SWD; Pallvi Sharma, Assistant Director (Schemes) SWD; Pallavi Singh, Director JKSPYM; and the whole JKSPYM team attended the session. D.D. Mehra, the president of the mohalla, as well as neighbourhood kids and others took part in the ceremony.
