Claims that the practise of appropriating state land ceased on August 5, 2019; no foreigners have received land in the UT via the PMAY programme; Jammu and Kashmir has seen a dramatic change over the last three years.

Srinagar, August 24: J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said Thursday that he would leave office having accomplished several lasting and meaningful projects for the people of the UT.

The Lieutenant Governor, it is said, will also be leaving J&K. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reportedly said, “I want to convey them surely I will but after finishing exemplary and tangible works for the people of Jammu and Kashmir for which he would be remembered for long,” at the Raj Bhawan, where he inaugurated several developmental projects for the Budgam district in central Kashmir.

LG Sinha stated the public should look for the persons who lied to them about the ‘land for landless’ problem and other similar topics in the past. Many residents in the Jammu area have applied to the J&K government for land, and we have determined that they are qualified to do so. Those who attempt to convince us that the PMAY plan is being used to house foreign nationals are spreading false information in an effort to stir up controversy in an otherwise calm environment. They are using this situation to play politics. According to LG Manoj Sinha, “we asked DDCs if any foreigners were given land in their areas, and they said no.”

He said that many people in J&K had previously purchased state property, but that trend had ended. On August 5, 2019, the process of seizing state land came to a conclusion. LG Sinha has said that the government cannot tolerate this behaviour.

Instead of encouraging adolescents to go into trouble, we should be providing them with a better environment. Our children need consistent opportunity to compete on a global stage,” LG Manoj Sinha remarked, “In the previous three years, the J&K UT has seen significant growth and change. This century marks a pivotal juncture in Jammu and Kashmir’s ongoing change.

The LG Sinha criticised regional political parties, claiming that UT residents were doomed to remain mired in fantasy. There has been enough loss of life in J&K. But I promise that I will fix the problems that people are having, and that I will stay with J&K until that happens.
