Man perishes in a traffic accident in Srinagar

On Saturday morning, a vehicle travelling on the Srinagar-Baramulla highway crashed into a permanent barrier in the Umarabad HMT area, killing the driver instantly.

Authorities said that the fast-moving vehicle lost control and hit a barrier. The force of the accident was so strong that the guy in the rear seat crashed through the car’s glass.

Ali Muhammad Bhat, a native of the Odina village of Sonawari Sumbal, which is located in the Bandipora district, has been named as the dead.

Police have reported the occurrence and filed a complaint in accordance with the appropriate legal provisions.
