Mughal route is closed by a landslip

On Saturday, a landslip forced the closure of the Mughal route, which links the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch with the Shopian district in the Kashmir Valley.

They said that a landslip in this hilly district’s vicinity of Poshana had obstructed the highway. They said that workers and equipment were called into duty right away to clean the road.

A representative of the traffic department verified the road’s closure and said that attempts are being made to reopen it. (GNS)
