Under the direction of Mohita Sharma, the Senior Superintendent of Police in Ramban, the District Police in that city held a civic action activity on August 9 at the District Police Line.
Items like as books (for use in studying for exams like the UPSC, JKAS, NEET, etc.), wheelchairs, tricycles, and electric blankets were distributed to students, the elderly, widows, and people with disabilities who had been nominated as beneficiaries of the scheme. SSP Ramban, who spoke at the event, emphasised that the police department is holding such events to foster greater community ties and mutual understanding. The goal of this initiative is to improve communication and trust between the police and the public. SSP Ramban inspired the children by highlighting the importance of education in developing a strong nation. Several officials from DPL Ramban were present, including Addl. SP Gourav Mahajan and Dy.SP Om Parkash Lalhal from the Ramban Police Headquarters.
