Srinagar and Pulwama's District Volleyball Teams Have New Members

The elections for the Srinagar and Pulwama district volleyball associations for the next four years were held on July 15 in Srinagar by the Volleyball Association of J&K (VAJK).

The statement claims that Amir Bhat would continue to serve as president of the Srinagar Volleyball Association and that Muneer Aalam will continue to serve as secretary. A handout published on Saturday announced that Ghulam Mohd-ud-Din Mir has been chosen president and Mudasir Ahmed Dar has been appointed secretary of the Pulwama Volleyball Association for the next four years, from 2023 to 2027.

Kuldeep Magotra, CEO of VAJK, served as the Returning Officer, while Ramesh Sharma, Treasurer of VAJK, and Mohd Tariq, Joint Secretary of VAJK, served as observers throughout the elections in both districts.

There were 17 district Srinagar volleyball club presidents and secretaries and 11 district Pulwama volleyball club presidents and secretaries present for the elections.

Vice Presidents GS Mehta, Masroor Hussain, and Muzaffar; Publicity Advisors Momin Mir and Zahid Manzoor Sheikh; Joint Secretaries Johan Muhammad, Amjad Hussain, Abrar Maqbool, Muqeem Kanth, and Rahil Shah, Irfana, Shafia, Ishfaq Reshi; and Treasurer Umar Malik.

Farooq Ahmed Magray (Treasurer), Mohd Shafi Dar (Vice President), Javeed Ahmed Dar, and Shahid Hassan (Joint Secretaries) round up the District Pulwama executive team. Women promoter members Dar Snowbar and Saba Farooq, and executive members Gowhar Ahmed Chopan, Gowhar Ahmed Shah, Muneev ul Yousuf, Umar Nazir, and Wazir Ahmed Dar.

The Chief Executive Officer of VAJK extended congratulations to the Srinagar and Pulwama District Volleyball Associations on their recent elections.
