Suicide is suspected when a woman’s corpse is pulled from the Jhelum River in Srinagar

On Tuesday, August 8th, reports indicated that a woman’s corpse had been pulled from the Jhelum River in the Rajbagh neighbourhood of Srinagar.

Some people reportedly saw the corpse floating in the sea and reported it to the authorities.

A hospital received the corpse after it was pulled from the river for medical and legal procedures.

The lady, whose name is being withheld, was reportedly seen jumping into the river by witnesses.
