The body of a young man, aged 27, who leapt into Dal Lake has been recovered

Officials in Srinagar said on August 18 that the corpse of 27-year-old Imtiyaz Ahmad, who was claimed to have plunged into Dal Lake yesterday night, has been recovered.

According to a senior police officer, the force learned that an individual leapt into the water at Ghat number 1.

He stated a search and rescue mission had been initiated to find the missing individual. The corpse of Soura resident Imtiyaz Ahmad was recovered today after frantic attempts by rescuers.
