November 4, Srinagar: Under the direction of Syed Showkat Gayoor Andrabi, the chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Gayoor Foundation, a significant meeting was conducted in which organizational issues were reviewed.
The members of the recently established core committee attended the meeting, where the foundation’s future goals were addressed.
The well-known penman, poet, writer, and stage artist Zahoor Ragi was unanimously chosen to serve as the foundation’s general secretary during the chairman’s online conversation with a number of Executive Council members. Showkat Hamid Shah, a young penman and journalist, was assigned to the role of publicity secretary.
Latif Saifullah and the core committee members thanked Zahoor Ragi and Shaukat Hameed at the meeting and expressed optimism that they would strive to grow the Ghayoor Foundation.
In order to activate the foundation, key issues, such as setting up a head office in Srinagar and subsidiary offices at the district heads, were also examined.
The Foundation will interact with all of the individuals connected to it and establish further connections with pertinent governmental and non-governmental organizations. Engineer Syed S. Gayoor Andrabi welcomed all of the attendees and congratulated Showkat Hamid, the publicity secretary, and Zahoor Ragi, the newly elected general secretary, during his presidential speech. He also expressed the hope that the Gayoor Foundation will provide a program for the benefit of society.
