Subject to fair weather, good road conditions, and a manageable traffic environment, LMV passengers and private cars shall be allowed from both sides on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, viz., Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa. However, HMVs shall be allowed from Jakheni (Udhampur) towards Srinagar after up-to-date LMV tails and an assessment of road conditions.
Cut-off timing for LMVs in view of single roads at Dalwas, Panthyal, Magerkote, Nachlana, Shalgarhi, Kishtwari Pather, etc. (subject to change depending on road condition)
From Nagrota (Jammu) at 0600 hours to 1300 hours,
from Jakheni (Udhampur) at 0700 hrs. to 1400 hrs.
The NAVYUG Tunnel (Qazigund side) operates from 0600 hours to 1300 hours.
No vehicle shall be allowed after cut-off timing.
SFs Convoy Movement:
Security Forces are advised or requested not to ply against the advisory or traffic plan in view of possible traffic congestion because of the narrow carriageway between Nashree and Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. Tomorrow, they may fly from Jammu towards Srinagar after confirming the status of the National Highway from TCU.
