A delegation of religious leaders has petitioned Lt Governor

Srinagar, 11 June: A group of religious leaders visited Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan today, headed by Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson J&K Waqf Board.

The team, which included intellectuals, preachers, and Ulemas from the Kashmir Division, addressed a variety of public issues, as well as the important role of religious leaders in fostering spiritual heritage and social peace in the area.

The Lt Governor pledged the UT administration’s full support and help in fostering the spirit of unity, fraternity, and brotherhood in Jammu and Kashmir.

Syed Ghulam Jeelani Andrabi, Haji Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Mohd Yousuf Baba, Bilal Ahmad Dar, Showket Ahmad Bhat, Showket Samad, and Bilal Ahmad made up the delegation.
