A man was murdered and a pillion rider was wounded in a traffic accident in Anantnag

On Sunday, a scooty rider was murdered and the pillion rider was wounded in a traffic collision in the Bijbehara region of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

According to news outlet Kashmir Scroll, an accident occurred between a scooty and a Wagon-R near Pazalpora Bijbehara in Anantnag district. Scooty driver Ali Mohd Bhat (55), of Pangzam, Kokernag, died on the scene, while pillion rider Rouf Ahmad Malik (32) of Panzgam got serious injuries and was sent to GMC Anantnag for further treatment, he added. In this respect, FIR No. 128/2023 u/s 279,337 IPC has been filed, and an inquiry has begun.
