A teenager from Shopian falls into a drain and drowns

A 15-year-old girl lost her life after she fell into a drain at Hirpora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

An official said that a girl from Hirpora was on way to her uncle’s house in Bhorihallen when she fell into a drain.

He said that she was taken to District Hospital Shopian in an unconscious condition where she died.

The deceased has been identified as Simran Jan, daughter of Sheraz Ahmad. She was a class 10th student. (KNO)
