A young man, aged 22, has tragically perished in a fish pond in Sonamarg

A 22-year-old man was found dead on July 2 in a fish pond in the Sonamarg area of the Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir.

Inayat Yousuf Dar, son of Mohd Yousuf Dar, of Gowhar Pura, Chadora, was near the pond when he fell into the fish pond in Sonamarg, an official told the news outlet Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

The officer went on to say that the boy was rushed to PHC Sonamarg, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Meanwhile, law enforcement has been made aware of what happened.
