Accidental death of a Dalwass labourer

In the Dalwass region of Chanderkote on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Tuesday, June 13th, a man working for a construction firm of NHAI was crushed to death beneath a crane.

A construction worker for NHAI was killed after he fell beneath a Hydra Crane near Lucky Dhaba in the Dhalwass sector of the highway, according to police sources.

The worker reportedly went beneath the crane while the operator was reversing it, killing him instantly. Sultan Miya, 23, son of Kochi, Bihar, resident MochalamHussain, was recognised by police as the victim.
