Dated this 10th day of June at Porbandar According to news released today, four suspects, including three citizens of Kashmir, have been detained by the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Gujarat Police for their claimed ties to a global terror organisation.
For many days, a crack ATS unit had been conducting covert operations in and around Porbandar.
According to the reports, DIG Dipen Bhadran has been in Porbandar since yesterday, where he has been leading the ATS operation along with other officers.
Deepen Bhadran, the Deputy Inspector General of the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad, is among the several authorities now in Porbandar. Some believe that IG and other officials are in attendance because of the covert operation. After the ATS finished their mission, they drove to the Special Operations Group (SOG) HQ in Porbandar.
Four people in Porbandar have been apprehended by the ATS, according to ATS sources.
According to ATS’s sources, the activities included DIG Deepan Bhadran, SP Sunil Joshi, DYSP KK Patel, DYSP Shankar Chowdhury, and other authorities.
All locals who have ties to foreign nationals are under closer scrutiny. Top ATS or Gujarat Police officers may now make a public declaration regarding the whole operation, according to ATS sources. (Using synthetic data)
