On Thursday, the government released an assessment report on J&K at the state level, and District Bandipora came out on top in terms of deliverables.

According to a statement released by an official here, Bandipora has exceeded expectations by creating a respectable bar for efficiency and production thanks to its constant commitment to excellence and devotion to reaching objectives.

Dr. Owais Ahmed, Deputy Commissioner of Bandipora, attributed the district’s impressive achievement to the dedication of its employees and the leadership of its visionary executives.

Bandipora has been continually successful due to its emphasis on process optimisation, operational efficiency, and the promotion of a culture of responsibility.

Bandipora was declared First in ranking of Deliverables throughout JK UT, and 2nd in Good Governance Index in Kashmir division, Dr. Owais said at a meeting convened for the e-launch of panchayat ranking for UT under ABDP, Aspirational Block Ranking for FY 2022-23, Ranking of Districts on deliverables, and District Good Governance Index 3.0.

He asked the police to keep up their excellent performance and to focus on increasing all of the performance markers.

Bandipora has all of the required social welfare centres, including senior citizen homes and a one-stop facility for women, and is also the first district to have its own Panchayat index and drug de-addiction clinic.

Mutton, poultry, horticulture, and milk production all increased at a higher rate in the District of Bandipora. In addition, the number of tourists visiting the area and the availability of loans for starting businesses also rose, which encouraged more young people to participate in initiatives aimed at creating new jobs.

District Bandipora is committed to maintaining its high standards as it advances and develops, including expanding access to the Atal Pension (PMSBY+PMJJBY), providing more jobs through the MGNREGA, and improving access to essential public services.

The DC commended the efforts of district officers for advancement in rank, in addition to the extraordinary milestone of obtaining the rank first, and emphasised the importance of devotion, teamwork, and creativity in attaining exceptional accomplishments.
