In the updated yearly regular results, at least 165 students were reclassified as distinction holders after initially being reported as having failed to qualify in all courses of the 12th grade.

On Monday, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) stated that it would be revising its notice to parents of kids who had previously been labelled failures owing to a “lackadaisical approach” on the part of either their school or the BOSE.

According to a notice sent out by BOSE, “Further to the Higher Secondary Part Two examination results, at least 165 roll numbers’ results are amended, revised, and declared.”

Class 12 students protested the mismatch in BOSE’s results announcements on Saturday in Srinagar’s media enclave.

Protesting pupils from Kakapora’s Government Higher Secondary School claimed that several of their classmates had been deemed absent from a chemistry practical exam before being reclassified as “reappearing.”

We did well on the theoretical exam, but the practical discrepancy made the whole topic return, leaving us confused.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education released the 12th grade annual regular results on Friday, with a pass rate of 65%.

Meanwhile, BOSE administration was alerted by parents that their children’s schools hadn’t updated their honour list.

This problem arose since we just received the honour roll from each of their schools. It wasn’t BOSE’s fault, the official stated.
