Career Counselling Programme held at govt degree college Sumbal

Srinagar 27 Apr : A Career counseling program titled “Bridging the gap between Academics and Corporate” was organized jointly by the Career Counseling Cell and Department of Education today on April 27th 2023 in the Conference Hall of the college. Speaker for the occasion was Mr. Aaqib Parray (Senior Career Counsellor from WhizKid EduCorp and Chairman Helping Hands NGO). Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Parey, Head Department of Education moderated the session. THE worthy Principal, Prof.(Dr.) Shabeena Iqbal Shawl, in her address focussed on the need of exposure and skill development in addition to regular academic activities. Mr. Aaqib Parray in his detailed interactive talk stressed on the need of Career counseling for college going students. He also spoke about the expectations of business organizations from college pass-outs meeting which should make them employable. The role of various career counseling organizations was also highlighted by the speaker, while addressing the large gathering of students. A formal vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Mohammad Rafiq Lone, Convener Career Counseling, wherein he thanked the worthy Principal Prof.(Dr.) Shabeena Iqbal Shawl, Mr Aaqib Parray the guest speaker from WhizKid EduCorp, Dr. M. Rafiq Beigh, Coordinator IQAC and Dr.Hilal Ahmad Wani, Head Department of BioChemistry, for their support in the conducting the program
