Union Minister for Culture and Tourism G. Kishan Reddy sent his best wishes to the people of India, the government of Jammu and Kashmir, and all the followers of Sri Venkateswara. The world will hear from the shrine in Jammu that India is indivisible from Kashmir to the southernmost tip of Kanyakumari. He predicted that this spot will become a hub for Sanatan practises and beliefs.

Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple was built in record time thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Lt Governor of J&K and the Chairman and Board members of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams. The Union Minister said that from now on, visitors to Jammu not only have the opportunity to seek the blessings of Sri Venkateswara Swamy, but also of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and other renowned holy destinations.

The Sanatan Journey of J&K and the nation, according to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who proclaimed the opening of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple to be a watershed event.

The inauguration of the Lord Venkateswara Temple would be a boon to J&K’s already thriving religious tourist industry. The Union Territory’s economic growth and job creation will get a significant boost, according to the Lt. Governor.

Unfortunately, Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah ji was unable to attend us today as he had planned because of urgent matters. He has sent his best wishes and informed me that his next event in Jammu would not begin till he has bowed to Sri Venkateswara Swamy.

To the people of J&K for their cooperation, and to Shri.Y.V. Subba Reddy, Chairman, TTD, for bringing Sri Venkateswara’s temple to the country of spirituality and knowledge, we are eternally thankful. In addition, he praised the efforts of the people who were building the temple.

Jammu & Kashmir is seeing rapid economic growth and cultural revitalization in Amrit Kaal thanks to the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Lt. Governor has noted that the Union Territory is progressing to greater heights of grandeur, divinity, and growth in its endless journey.

Jammu and Kashmir as a Union Territory has high hopes for the future. He said that everyone should do all they can to help the economy expand and that everyone should have the chance to benefit from that development.

The spiritual side of Jammu and Kashmir, according to the Lt. Governor, is also reaching new heights.

He went on to say that the UT’s abundance of religious sites, such as Sri Venkateswara, Baba Amarnath, Mata Vaishno Devi, Mata Sharda, Shiv Khori, the Adi Shankaracharya Temple, Hazratbal, and the Sufi shrine of Hazratbal, would not only attract more tourists, but would also help establish Jammu Kashmir as the spiritual and cultural heart of India.

And I have faith that the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams would make the construction of a Ved Pathshala and Health Centre a top priority.

Speaking at the event, Union Minister of State Dr. Jitendra Singh said that the day will mark a new milestone in J&K UT’s development path.

This Vikas Tirth represents the ideal of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat envisioned by India’s Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, he said.
