Srinagar, June 28: Senior people in charge of running the government have wished people a happy Eid-ul-Adha.

Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, the Chief Secretary, wished people a happy Eid-ul-Adha today. In his speech, Dr. Mehta said that this holiday calls on people to help others without expecting anything in return. He said that people should celebrate the holiday with all their heart and energy. The Chief Secretary also told everyone involved to clean up the neighbourhoods in a way that fit the event. He also said that Eidgahs should be set up in the same way as they have been in the past for the sake of the people who go there.

The person in charge of Kashmir

In his message, Kashmir’s Divisional Commissioner (Div Com), Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, hoped that this Eid would bring people health, happiness, peace, and wealth. He said, “We should celebrate this holiday by being kind and compassionate to each other, especially to the poor and needy.” The Div Com also asked people to get rid of the hides and parts of sacrificed animals in the right way and to use water wisely.

The Srinagar Deputy Commissioner

Mohammad Aijaz Asad, who is the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Srinagar, sent his best wishes to the people on the happy day of Eid-ul-Adha. He said that Eid-ul-Adha is a great time to share happiness with people, especially those who are poor or in need. He said that this is a holy time to fill our hearts and thoughts with the spirit of sincerity and truthfulness and to spread love, kindness, and respect among our fellow humans.

The DC begged for peace, development, and success for all of Jammu and Kashmir. He also asked people to remember the poor and include them in the celebration.
