Chennai, 30 October: The Health & Medical Education Department has ordered the rationalisation of personnel and the detachment of all workers attached by Heads of Departments (HoDs) at their own level in an effort to enhance patient care and simplify its operations.
These actions were requested by the department at both the Lieutenant Governor’s “Mulaqaat” today and yesterday.
In order to rationalise the staff in the interest of patient care, the Under Secretary of the H&ME department issued an order directing the Directors of Health Services, Jammu and Kashmir, to detach all staff members attached by the Heads of Departments at their respective levels and to execute the transfers and posting orders issued by the Administrative Department.
The order stated: “By November 1, 2023, before noon, furnish a compliance report and also furnish the list of employees who have not complied with instructions or orders issued from time to time for initiating disciplinary proceedings against them as warranted under rules, without further notice.”
