Rajouri, Oct. 27: During a surprise examination of several health facilities in the Nowshera medical block, the health department in Rajouri discovered that 17 of its workers had not shown up for work. As a result, the department issued show-cause notices to the employees.

Dr. Iqbal Malik, the Block Medical Officer of Nowshera, who oversaw an inspection team that observed how the block’s medical facilities were operating, has delivered the notification.

Supervisor Dental Technician Zahoor Ahmed Malik, Supervisor Lab Technician Ajaz Hussain Malik, and MTS Rani Devi are among the three sub-district hospital Nowshera staff that were discovered missing.

Pharmacist Vinod Sudan, JSN Kanchan Sharma, Pharmacist Sanjeev Kumar, FMPHW Kirtan Kour, Pharmacist Ajay Kumar, Pharmacist Neelam Sharma, and Lab Technician Anita Sharma, all employed at Sub Centre Hanjana Nowshera, were also discovered to be missing from work.

Six other workers from the sub-district hospital in Nowshera were also discovered to be away from work, including the head chemist Muhammad Aslam, the LHV Shashi Bala and Sharma, the Extension Educator Subash Chander, the MTS Divyansh Dutta, and the MTS Preeti Devi.

Block Medical Officer Nowshera, Dr. Iqbal Malik, said that these workers were discovered not to be doing their jobs. As a result, they were given a show-cause notice, and their responses were requested.
