On Friday, July 14, an accident on the Mughal Road in the Shopian district of south Kashmir claimed the life of one man and injured six others.
Mukhtar Ahmad, son of Mushtaq Ahmad, was found dead in Rajouri.
The last hamlet on the Shopian side of the Mughal road, Heerpora, was the scene of the attack at approximately 6 o’clock in the evening.
The accident, according to a police officer, featured a truck, a compact load carrier, and an automobile.
The official said that one person was killed instantly and six others were injured.
Dr. Rubina Maqbool, the District Hospital Shopian’s Medical Superintendent (MS), confirmed to Greater Kashmir that a body had been brought in.
She claimed that three of the six wounded were sent to SMHS in Srinagar for specialised care.
