A fire on Palladium Lane damages three stores

Three stores were destroyed by fire on Monday night in Palladium Lane in Srinagar’s commercial district, Lal Chowk.

According to witnesses, the fire began in one of the Palladium Lane stores and quickly spread to other stores. In order to put out the fire, representatives from the Fire and Emergency department pushed six fire tenders.

“Our firemen’s prompt intervention stopped the fire from spreading to neighbouring stores. Three stores on the bottom level of a four-story structure were damaged as a result of the event. No fatalities or injuries have been recorded, an official said.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, according to the authorities, who added that they are looking into the situation.
