Gurmeet Singh’s corpse was recovered from the lower Jhelum hydroelectric power plant this morning.
Baramulla, August 29: On Tuesday morning, a body of a Roads and Buildings Department engineer who had been missing from his residence for six days was pulled from a barrage in the Gantamulla neighbourhood of the Baramulla district in north Kashmir.
According to Kashmir News Observer (KNO), which cited an official, Gurmeet Singh’s corpse was rescued from the Lower Jhelum Hydroelectric Power Project’s bombardment this morning.
He said that Gurmeet had been absent from his residence for around six days and that during that time, police and other agencies had carried out a thorough search for him.
But despite what he indicated, his corpse was pulled from the barrage this morning. He said that more inquiry was ongoing.
