Traffic resumes after two days on jammu srinagar national highway
An official said the traffic was restored on the road at 9 am after debris of the landslide was cleared from the highway.
Due to rain and a landslip, traffic on the important Srinagar-Jammu national highway was stopped on October 18 and has not resumed.
An official said that the road was reopened to traffic around 9 a.m. after landslip debris was removed.

After a landslip on Monday in the Shalgiri neighbourhood of Banihal, the road was blocked to traffic. The roadblock caused hundreds of cars to get stuck.
The route between Srinagar and Sonamarg, he said, is now passable for cars. Nonetheless, snowfall has prevented the reopening of the Mughal Road linking Shopian in south Kashmir with the districts of Rajouri and Poonch.
