Amarnath Yatra | 3,472 pilgrims set off for Kashmir from Jammu on Monday

On Saturday, the 20th group of 3,472 Amarnath Yatris departed from Jammu’s Bhagwati Nagar base camp for Pahalgam and Baltal in south Kashmir.

According to the authorities, out of a total of 3472 new Amarnath pilgrims, 2515 yatris chose the Pahalgam route, while 957 yatris preferred to make the journey through the Baltal route. “They left Bhagwati Nagar base camp in a convoy of 132 vehicles, under tight security arrangements early Saturday morning,” stated authorities.
