PM Modi initiated the campaign to honour the “achievements of the nation and its brave hearts.”

The ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ will be introduced in New Delhi on Friday as part of the ‘Meri Mati-Mera Desh’ campaign, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

“Under this, several events will be held around the nation in honour of our invincible martyrs. Additionally, thousands of local panchayats around the nation will have commemorative inscriptions placed in their honour. ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ will also be planned nationwide as part of this campaign.

In addition, he said, “This ‘Amrit Kalash Yatra’ transporting soil in 7,500 urns from every part of the nation will reach Delhi, the nation’s capital. Also travelling on this tour will be young trees from various regions of the nation. By combining the dirt and saplings that would come in 7,500 urns, “Amrit Vatika” will be constructed next to the National War Memorial. ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ will also adopt this ‘Amrit Vatika’ as a great emblem.

In Dhenkanal, Odisha, on Wednesday, Amrit Kalash Yatra was introduced under the banner of “Meri Mati Mera Desh” by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

He also went to the birthplace of Sarangadhar Das, a liberation warrior. Odisha is the country of martyrs, and we have started this programme in memory of all of them, Pradhan said after visiting the grave of independence warrior Sarangdhar Das there.We have gathered dirt from this region, and it will be sent to Delhi’s prime minister, Narendra Modi.
