An army service member was electrocuted and killed on September 3 in the Samba neighbourhood of Jammu.
The service member died while stationed at a military facility in the Samba district location of Birpur, Bari Brahmana.

According to official sources, the army man died after being brought to a nearby army hospital after receiving an electric shock at his camp.
The police reportedly opened a criminal investigation into the incident.
Deepak Pandey, one of the deceased soldiers, has been positively identified.
