At Marheen, a Block Diwas programme was organised

On September 13th, as part of the regular Block Diwas programming, Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Minhas presided over a Public Outreach event at the Ramlila Club in the Marheen Block.

PRIs, social activists, and other participants on the occasion presented concerns of public relevance and demanded a prompt resolution of the same.

The main issues brought up during the block diwas proceedings included filling the vacant position of an MBBS doctor at PHC Marheen, the absence of an English lecturer at GHSS Marheen, the formation of an urban local body in Marheen Tehsil, the provision of a play area, the relocation of electric poles, etc.
