Srinagar, Oct. 16: It was announced in Srinagar that a glass-top train called the Vistadome would travel from Banihal to Budgam. This train would provide both residents and visitors with a panoramic viewing experience of the breathtaking scenery along the route.

Passengers will be able to experience stunningly magnificent sights during the 110-mile trip that will only take 90 minutes to complete, thanks to a new service being provided by the railroads in Jammu and Kashmir.

The luxury motor bus is equipped with central air conditioning, wide glass windows, a glass top, rotatable seats, and an observation lounge. The train will stop at many significant cities and towns along its route, including Srinagar, Awantipora, Anantnag, Qazigund, and Banihal. As it would provide passengers with a train ride that is packed with amenities, it is anticipated that it will be quite popular among both tourists and residents.

The new train also has an air-conditioned chair car coach, providing a more luxurious experience for its premium-class passengers. In addition, trays have been installed in the seats so that passengers may use them to consume food items, and passengers will be able to place orders for lighter meals while they are on their trip, much as they would on an aeroplane.

An official said that Northern Railways conducted a trial run of the train from Budgam to Baramulla under the observation of upper railway authorities. The Northern Railways carried out the trial run.
