No need to worry, the roadway will open again tomorrow, they say

11 July, Srinagar: On Tuesday, the authorities assured the public that the Valley was well stocked with necessities like gas and that this situation would not change until the Srinagar-Jammu route reopened for vehicle traffic the following day.

You shouldn’t have freaked out. According to the Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, has indicated that there is sufficient stock of necessities in the region.

He also said that the Srinagar-Jammu national highway will reopen for vehicles the next day and that a sufficient quantity of necessities would be brought here as soon as possible.

In the past, residents in several areas of Kashmir have been observed in a mad dash to fill up their gas tanks.

The agency said that some gas outlets in South Kashmir, including those in Anantnag and Kulgam, were out of the fuel.
