Government has all-party meeting on Sep 17 eve of special parliament session

On September 17, one day before the start of the five-day extraordinary session of Parliament, the government called an all-party meeting in New Delhi.

The meeting will start about 4:30 pm, according to sources familiar of the development.

“An all-party floor leaders meeting has been scheduled on July 17 at 4.30 PM, before to the start of the parliament’s session on the 18th. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said on X that the invitation for the event had been given by email to the relevant leaders.

A letter inviting all parties to the meeting would also be issued, he said.

From September 18 until September 22, the Parliament will be in extraordinary session.

The schedule for the extraordinary session is still unclear.
