JAMMU/SRINAGAR TRAFFIC POLICE HEADQUARTERS, J&K
From 02-11-2023, 1700 hrs., to 03-11-2023, 1700 hrs., there was slow movement noticed on NH-44 owing to the breakdown of 07 HMVs, the poor surface condition of the road at Dalwas, and single-lane traffic at Cafeteria-Mehad, Magerkote, and Nachlana between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel.
Travellers and LMV drivers are urged to avoid nighttime trips on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. Please refrain from travelling on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., since the migration of nomads from the Kashmir valley towards Jammu may create trouble for commuters. In addition, drivers are urged to ensure their cars are in good working order and to stock up on petrol before setting out on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
Dhar Road will be open to heavy vehicles with just 6 and 10 tyres.
