10 September, Kishtwar The Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) District Office Kishtwar, in collaboration with the Government Degree College Kishtwar, today hosted an informative Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme on the college campus to encourage entrepreneurial spirit and support startups in the area.
The event’s activities focussed on the important topic of “Entrepreneurship and Startup” and motivated and informed the district of Kishtwar’s aspiring businesspeople. Students, instructors, and prospective business owners all participated in the programme with enthusiasm.
This important endeavour was led by Prof. MM Mattoo, Head of Department (Education) and Event Organiser, who emphasised the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s changing business environment. The success of the event was greatly influenced by Prof. Mattoo’s leadership and vision.
As the Chief Guest, Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Principal of the Government Degree College in Kishtwar, honoured the event. Her participation elevated the occasion and reaffirmed the academic institution’s dedication to supporting budding entrepreneurs.
The presenters and resource people from JKEDI who contributed their knowledge and skills were the program’s high point. Dr Vinod Kumar, Senior Faculty at JKEDI, and Waseem Afzal Naik, District Nodal Officer at JKEDI Kishtwar, enlightened the audience with their expertise and experiences in the area of entrepreneurship. The guests were profoundly affected by their captivating lectures.
Dr. Madhu Bala, the department’s head for commerce at the Government Degree College in Kishtwar, gave a passionate Vote of Thanks in appreciation.
