This occurs at a time when the three main nuclear nations are at their greatest point in decades in terms of tension.

The images, which were obtained and provided by a renowned analyst in military nonproliferation studies, show recent expansions at three nuclear test sites compared with only a few years ago, according to the CNN report. However, there is no evidence to suggest that Russia, the US, or China is preparing for an impending nuclear test.
