Police in Srinagar, India, reported today that an elderly man had been discovered dead in a paddy field in the Tral region of the Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
“In the evening of 1st September, PS Tral received an information that a dead body of a person is lying in the paddy fields of Kangloora Tral,” a police spokeswoman stated.
He said law enforcement officials raced to the scene and confirmed the accuracy of the report.
Karan Singh, son of Aya Singh, has been positively confirmed as the deceased.” In his words, “he’s roughly 75 years old and from Kangloora (Tral).
He noted a quick inspection had turned up no obvious exterior wounds.
The FSL has been thoroughly inspected, and crime scene pictures has been taken. Medical examiners on the board are doing the autopsy. According to the spokesperson, investigations and legal proceedings have begun.
