DGP RR Swain declares, "We are determined to destroy the enemy and its ecosystem"

The 27th of October, Srinagar: Since Dilbag Singh would reach the age of retirement at the end of this month, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, decided on Friday to provide extra responsibility for the job to the person who is now serving in that capacity, RR Swain (IPS).

As stated in an order that was given out by the MHA, Swain, who is now working as the special DG for the CID, has been requested to accept the extra responsibility of the job beginning on November 1.


“With the approval of competent authority, Shri R.R. Swain, IPS, presently posted as special DG, CID, Jammu, and Kasjmir, will also function as in-charge Director General of Police in addition to his existing charge, with effect from 1-11-23 and until further orders,” according to the directive.
