Rajouri: In an important move to improve the health of kids and employees, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri Vikas Kundal called a meeting to discuss the availability of water in schools.

In a statement released here, an official spokeswoman said that Kundal underlined the need to check the number of schools with working drinking water facilities during the discussion. He underlined that having access to functioning drinking water in schools is essential for both kids and employees.

Kundal gave authorities the go-ahead to work together and make sure that this crucial amenity is easily accessible in all educational institutions around the district after realising the urgency of the situation. He emphasised the importance of having access to safe drinking water for kids’ and staff members’ general health and wellbeing.

The officials in attendance agreed as the conference came to a close to give the supply of functioning drinking water in schools first priority. They promised to take all necessary steps to guarantee the facility’s ongoing availability and enhancement. The Rajouri district government is unwavering in its commitment to seeing to it that the fundamental requirements of the students and faculty are satisfied in order to provide a favourable and healthy environment for learning and growth.

Sultana Kouser, the chief education officer, Ashwini Sharma, the executive engineer (Jal Shakti) Rajouri, and other representatives from the relevant departments were present at the meeting.
